City’s Dan Hayfield and Scott Wilson netted either side of the break with the Terras bagging a late goal at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday. The City go marching on with a Wembley dream still alive. Final result: Away win 1-2.
Larkhall Athletic: The Larks went down to a home defeat by one goal to two when high flying Bemerton Heath Harlequins visited Plain Ham on Saturday in the Southern League – South Division fixture. It leaves the Larks in mid table – but it’s early days. Final result: Home defeat 1-2.
Odd Down FC: The down took the points against Longwell Green in a spirited away day performance running out winners by two goals to one. Both teams remain in mid table in the Tool Station League. Final result: Away win 1-2.
Bath Rugby Union Football Club: A defeat by just one point at Franklin’s Gardens in the Premiership Rugby Cup for the Blue Black and Whites left the team frustrated since they ran in three tries in the first 20 minutes and earned a bonus point. Despite leading at half time the final score was an away defeat by 43-42.
