Bath Voice News: letter to the editor concerning residents’ concerns in Peasedown St John

Dear Editor, On a regular basis residents living in Peasedown St John contact us about a range of issues from traffic calming to street lighting and from the condition of our local roads to the need for pavements to be well maintained.

We’re grateful therefore to the two members of Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Cabinet for spending time with us in the village last week to address our residents’ concerns.

Cllr Sarah Warren, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Travel, and Cllr Matt McCabe, Cabinet Member for the Built Environment and Sustainable Development, accepted our invitation to spend a morning in Peasedown St John to discuss some of our communities most pressing issues.

We found the meeting fruitful and beneficial. It was an opportunity to make sure that Peasedown’s voice is heard, and we can continue to ensure that decision-makers at the council allocate funding for projects that our residents request.

We’ll be keeping residents informed about future projects in the village via our monthly e-newsletter. Your readers are welcome to subscribe by emailing village_voice@outlook.com
