Bath Voice News: letter to the editor about walking rugby

Dear Sir, are you looking at your SPORT section we have no mention of the new sport of Walking rugby .Bath rugby have had taster single days but no actual club?
Luckily for us Ex players and non players and injured players, Ladies and Gents who still want to be active and have FUN, the sport is a gentle form of touch rugby, for male and female.
There has been a massive surge in local tournaments as well .With Kingswood and North Bristol etc. I travel to CHIPPENHAM Rugby club and play every Friday because Bath had no teams 2years ago when i started?.
I’m 68 years old and have not played Rugby since leaving, Westhill/Culverhay school. If you would like to keep active and have fun as we get older come and join us BOYS and GIRLS in the GREAT RUGBY FAMILY, We also have mixed ability team as well.
Open to everybody. If interested you can contact David Cowan on walkers@chippenhamrfc.co.uk
Plus we are hoping to plan a big multi rugby festival at Easter 2025.(mini/touch/sevens/walking/mixed ability/girls/boys etc) at Allington. fields next Allington farm shop and Bumpers park Chippenham.
