THE DARK and I WANT MY HAT BACK TRILOGY tour to Bath’s Egg Theatre, as two beloved children’s books from author and illustrator Jon Klassen are adapted for the stage
The Dark, a powerful children’s story about overcoming fears, visits Bath’s Egg Theatre on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February, adapted from the book written by acclaimed author Lemony Snicket and illustrated by Jon Klassen. The show combines a mesmerising soundscape of live and recorded music with physical theatre, presented by Peut-Être Theatre for audiences aged four years and over. The Dark is accessible for blind and visually impaired children through pre-show integrated audio-description and touch tours which can be booked in advance.
The following week, from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th March, I Want My Hat Back Trilogy, a new stage adaptation from the beloved books by Jon Klassen – I Want My Hat Back, This is Not My Hat and We Found A Hat – visits The Egg. Adaptedby Ian Nicholson and Sam Wilde, showcasing their trademark cardboard designs, and Little Angel Theatre, the performance is perfect for children aged 3 years and over
