Bath Voice Sports News: this weekend’s fixtures and results for Bath’s teams

By Harry Mottram: As we move to the business end of the football season Bath City FC look towards finishing the campaign as high up the National League South as possible. Two games remain with the Romans keen to move higher up into the top half of the table adding momentum to a potential tilt at promotion next season.

Team Bath Netball have had mixed results this season but enjoyed a narrow win over Celtic Dragons.

With the cricket season under way – despite the chilly April weather – Bath took on Swansea in a weekend of fixtures for the first team. Meanwhile in Taunton Somerset CC had a draw againt Lancashire in the county championship in a four day game – will this be Somerset’s season? For fans of Gloucester CC who play their game nearer to Bath than Taunton at Bristol the season’s first home game is next week.

Bath Rugby – the blue, black and whites – beat the Quins at Twickenham leaving their season’s campaign on a high.
