Bath Voice News: boules event in Queen Square until 2 July with thousands raised for charities

Bath Boules in Queen Square runs from 29 June – 2 July, 2023. The tournament weekend in the park includes a marquee, music, a Pimms & Champagne garden, street food, bar, face painting and of course the game of boules or Pétanque as it is often known as.

The organisers said: “All proceeds of the Bath Boules are donated to local charities via the Bath Boules Trust. So for every ticket purchased, drink sipped, street food munched, raffle chanced, face painted and jump on the bouncy castle during the week you are contributing to vital causes in the area. Every year the Bath Boules raises thousands of pounds for local charities. So far, over £775,000 has been raised. Every year, several hundred people came for fun in the sun.”
