Bath Voice Sports News: Recent Results and Fixtures plus Club Contacts and Details for all the city’s sports – Week 44

By Harry Mottram: t was heartbreak at Welford Road as Leicester Tigers snatched victory from Bath with a last-minute penalty to run out winners 22-20. The team bounced back on the 25th October to ensure they overcame local rivals up the road by beating Bristol 40-15 at the Rec. They play the Bears again on Hallowe’en night hoping they aren’t spooked at Ashton Gate and complete the double.

In football Bath City lost away to Hornchurch by three goals to two – also in a last-minute penalty denying them an away draw. That leaves the Romans just one point off the drop zone while Hornchurch sit at the top of the table – just above fellow Somerset outfit Weston-super-Mare.

Meanwhile Larkhall take on Swindon Supermarine on Saturday while Bath City Women entertain Paulton on Sunday.
