Bath Business Conference returns with AI, tourism and Bath’s future on the agenda

Business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Bath and North East Somerset will gather at the Apex City of Bath Hotel next week as the Bath Business Conference returns for its fifth year.

Around 250 delegates are expected to attend the day-long event, which runs from 9am to 4.30pm, bringing together local businesses for networking, expert speakers, panel discussions and practical workshops.

Now firmly established as a fixture in the city’s business calendar, this year’s conference will explore some of the most pressing issues facing organisations today, including artificial intelligence, a proposed overnight visitor levy for visitors to Bath, leadership, economic development and the future of the city.

Highlights include discussions on Human Creativity in the Age of AI and Bath in 2040: AI Predictions vs Strategic Plans, alongside workshops covering cyber security, storytelling, business coaching, retirement planning and employee wellbeing.

Allison Herbert, Chief Executive of Bath BID, said: “The Bath Business Conference 2026 is much more than a networking event. We’ve designed a programme that reflects the opportunities and challenges facing businesses today, bringing together expert speakers, thought-provoking panel discussions and practical workshops that attendees can take straight back into their organisations.”

“Above all, the conference is about creating meaningful conversations, sharing ideas and strengthening the connections that help our business community thrive.”

Speakers include author and communications specialist Zsike Peter, business thinker Dr Margaret Heffernan, Tim Hollingsworth OBE and Paralympic medallist Dimitri Coutya MBE.

Tickets for the conference at the Apex City of Bath Hotel on 13 October are available on the Welcome to Bath website: www.welcometobath.co.uk/bath-events/bath-business-conference-2026/
