Football: Bath City Women FC: The Sulisians won 4-2 in their home fixture on Sunday 6 October against Corsham Town. Adella Clarke’s double, and goals from Erin Watkins and Erin Duffy ensured came out on top in this entertaining encounter between two good sides.
Football: Larkhall Athletic: The Larks took a knock on Saturday 5 October as Bishops Cleeve hit them with a 1-5 win. Hopefully they will turn things around on Wednesday when they play Bashley at home.
Football: Odd Down: On Saturday, 5 October the Down bagged a 2-1 home win against hengrove Athletic. Get in!
Rugby: Bath Rugby Union Club: The Blue, Black and Whites went down to defeat at the Rec on Saturday 5 October by 26-36 points. They were down by 7-26 at the break so a second half come back wasn’t enough to turn things around despite tries from Will Butt (56), Ross Molony (59), Ollie Lawrence (77). Finn Russell added nine points with conversions but it was Bristol who held sway as they in the words of the club’s match report ‘flew out of the traps and were on the scoreboard within two minutes of kick-off when Max Malins went over in the corner, converted by AJ MacGinty.’
