Bath Voice Review: The Wanted 2.0 get Bath singing along at Komedia concert

Fans were already gathering outside Komedia well before doors opened as Max George and Siva Kaneswaran brought The Wanted 2.0 to Bath for the first date of their UK tour.

The excitement was obvious from the growing queue, with fans chatting, singing and eagerly waiting to see some of the band’s biggest hits performed live. Inside, the intimate venue quickly filled up as the crowd found their spots close to the stage.

Support came from Liv Harland, the singer-songwriter and social media star who first built a following through busking and online videos. Her upbeat set got the audience warmed up before the main event.

When Max and Siva appeared on stage, they were met with a wall of screams as fans reached for their phones to capture the moment. Over the next 40 minutes, the pair took the audience on a nostalgic trip through The Wanted’s back catalogue, performing favourites including Glad You Came, All Time Low and Chasing the Sun.

What stood out was how much effort they made to involve the crowd. Between songs, they shared stories from their years in the band, joked with audience members and repeatedly encouraged fans to sing along. The atmosphere felt more like a celebration with old friends than a typical concert.

One of the most touching moments came during Gold Forever, which the duo dedicated to former bandmate Tom Parker. The song prompted an emotional response from fans, many of whom sang every word.

There were lighter moments too. During Heart Vacancy, a competition winner was invited on stage to perform with Max and Siva, creating a memory they are unlikely to forget. Later, Walks Like Rihanna turned into a giant singalong, with lyrics displayed on screen so the audience could join in karaoke-style.

The set may have been relatively short, but it packed in plenty of energy, nostalgia and crowd interaction. Judging by the reaction in the room, Bath was more than ready to welcome The Wanted 2.0 as they launched their latest tour.

The tour concludes in Newcastle on 22 October. Remaining ticket availability can be checked at: Tour 2026 — The Wanted 2.0
