One of Britain’s best-loved Christmas films is heading to Bath Forum this winter, giving local audiences the chance to experience Love Actually with a live orchestra performing the score alongside the film.
Love Actually Live in Concert will arrive at Bath Forum on 4 December, with the much-loved festive romantic comedy screened on a giant screen while a full orchestra performs composer Craig Armstrong’s score live and in sync with the film.
For the 2026 UK tour, British country-pop artist Twinnie will also join the production as a live vocalist, marking the first time the UK show has featured a live singer. She will perform six songs from the film’s soundtrack alongside the orchestra.
The Bath performance will also have an added local connection, with some members of the orchestra coming from Bath.
Twinnie said: “Love Actually is such a huge part of Christmas, and these songs are so woven into the film. ‘Both Sides Now’ breaks my heart every time I watch it. To sing them live with a full orchestra while the film plays behind me is a real dream – I can’t wait.”
She will perform songs including Jump, Here with Me, Turn Me On, Songbird, Both Sides Now and God Only Knows.
Written and directed by Richard Curtis, Love Actually follows a series of intertwined stories of love, friendship, family and heartbreak in the run-up to Christmas.
More than 20 years after its release, Love Actually remains a Christmas favourite, with its ensemble cast including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman and Bill Nighy helping to cement its place as one of Britain’s most-loved festive films.
Organisers say the combination of the full film and a live orchestra creates an immersive experience for audiences, whether they are discovering the movie for the first time or returning to one of their favourite Christmas traditions.
The Bath date forms part of a 14-venue UK tour running throughout November and December. Other stops include Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.
