Bath Voice Theatre Preview: a dance show for the very young in ‘a performance full of care, comfort and kindness’

On Saturday 11th March, a new dance work, it’s ok, tours to The Egg at the Theatre Royal Bath, with performances at 11.30am and 3pm. Presented by George Fellows and Four Hands, children aged 3 years and over can join Laura in this performance that takes audiences on a journey through feelings of uncertainty, fear, sadness and joy, as she begins to find both her own feet and her own way. Claire is always there to support and encourage her, looking on with pride. Reminding her every step of the way that there are no right or wrong feelings – just OUR feelings – and that it really is ok to feel them. Feelings that will resonate with anyone who has watched a loved one grow up.

it’s ok is a performance full of care, comfort and kindness, with a unique set design that creates a sense of closeness and intimacy. Performed by two dancers, Claire Lambert and Laura Booth, the show validates the wide range of emotions a child can experience.

it’s ok is a Little Big Dance commission supported by Arts Council England and The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, a pioneering national initiative creating new dance for children aged five and under.
