Bath Voice Sports News: We’re off the bottom! Bath Rugby banish their demons and beat Exeter in a thriller at the Rec

By Harry Mottram: Bath upset the odds with a sunning win over arch rivals Exeter Chiefs at the Rec on Sunday afternoon in a full house romping home by 36-19. And although there is no relegation this season in the Gallagher Premiership league the win does see Bath move off the bottom of the table.

Bath started well with Cameron Redpath opening the scoring but then back came Exeter with Solomone Kata and Scott Sio scoring.

But Bath bounced back with Beno Obano and Joe Cokanasiga giving Bath the half-time lead.

Tries from Tom Dunn and England player Ollie Lawrence increased the lead and while Jack Yeandle pulled one back as Exeter recovered ground but Bath held on to massive cheers as the final whistle blew.
